From March 1 though May 15, 2008, Merlyn's Pen is reading and responding to entries in the "Down to the Sea" Writing Contest. No other  submissions are being taken during the contest period.

When you send your writing to Merlyn's Pen, you'll receive illustrated "tracking" updates like the one below so you can follow your submission as it circulates among editors. As your piece moves along, the "tracking rocket" moves closer to the moon. Email updates notify you each time the rocket advances.
